Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Painter to support production operations by preparing, coating, and finishing parts using professional spray techniques and industry-standard processes. This role requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency while working both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate is reliable, follows established procedures, and is committed to meeting production goals.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces to be coated by using industry accepted cleaning methods. Prepare parts for painting by making, hanging items on racks and large items on carts or fixtures. Move items to drying areas, prep parts for further painting or assembly. Mix painting materials with reducers, thinners, and hardeners to correct ratios. Use spray guns and professional painting techniques to apply paint to parts including base coat primers and final paint finish and adherence standards. Adhere to all OSHA procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area. Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to follow process and procedures as well as a production schedule. Must work well as a team member, individual, good communication skills, motivated and dependable. High School education or GED required. Basic Math Skills Be able to work in an independent work setting while meeting your goals This position requires the use of a half respirator while performing certain job duties, which may involve exposure to paint fumes, chemicals, and airborne particulates. Candidates must be able to pass a required medical evaluation and comply with all safety protocols related to respirator use and workplace hazards.
