Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Detail Painters / Airbrush Finishers for projects located in or around Chula Vista, CA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35 /hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Prepare mascot heads and costume components for painting and finishing Inspect molded and fabricated surfaces prior to painting Clean surfaces of dust, oils, debris, and manufacturing residue Apply primers and base coats as required Protect vision panels, ventilation openings, fans, fabrics, hardware, and other components from over-spray Mix and prepare paints to match approved colors Apply uniform base coats and multiple paint layers as required Perform detailed airbrush finishing, shading, highlighting, and color blending Create dimensional effects and decorative markings Paint and detail eyes, eyebrows, pupils, eye outlines, nose details, mouth and lip details, teeth, tongues, facial markings, spots, stripes, fur patterns, scales, feathers, claws, wrinkles, and creases Complete final finishing and touch-up work to meet production standards
Requirements:
Experience with detailed painting and airbrush finishing Ability to perform color matching, shading, highlighting, and blending techniques Experience preparing surfaces for painting and applying primers and base coats Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must wear full PPE, including a mask, while performing painting duties Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
