Your expertise in industrial painting, coating, and surface preparation will ensure each sign meets rigorous quality standards and safety protocols. Duties Prepare surfaces through construction painting surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Interpret production documents accurately to follow design specifications and technical instructions Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to apply coatings, paints, and powder coatings with precision Operate conventional spraying guns and coating spray guns to achieve smooth, consistent finishes on various sign surfaces Handle materials carefully, including materials handling of paints, coatings, and powders, adhering strictly to safety protocols and PPE requirements Conduct visual color comparisons and quality checks to ensure color accuracy and consistency across all signage products Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment, including machining and assembly tools, following safety standards Skills Proficiency with industrial painting techniques such as powder coating, construction painting surface preparation, and airless paint spraying Mechanical knowledge for operating machinery related to sign fabrication and finishing processes Ability to interpret production documents accurately for precise application of materials and finishes Experience with the use of coating and painting spray guns, respirators, respirator maintenance, and respiratory protection measures Familiarity with the use of precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes Skilled in handling hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and assembly tasks required in sign production Knowledge of safety protocol adherence including PPE use such as respirators and other protective gear This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment where craftsmanship meets safety standards.
