This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on vehicle restoration, collision repair, and custom paint jobs, ensuring each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and finish. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for automotive refinishing, a keen eye for detail, and a strong mechanical aptitude to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Disassemble vehicles carefully to access damaged or worn components, including body panels Disassemble & Reassemble is a most on vehicles post-repair or painting with precision, ensuring all parts are correctly fitted and aligned Apply automotive paints using conventional spray guns , maintaining consistent quality Perform surface preparation tasks such as grinding, buffing, and polishing to achieve a smooth, high-gloss finish Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for repairs, sanding, grinding, and buffing tasks Conduct auto restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged parts using welding and mechanical skills Follow all safety protocols including proper use of respiratory protection and handling of paints and chemicals Assist with auto body repairs by assessing damage, estimating repair needs, and executing necessary repairs efficiently Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to environmental regulations related to paint application and disposal Qualifications Proven dealership or auto body shop experience with a focus on auto painting and disassembly/reassembly processes Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, grinders, sanders, and buffing equipment Familiarity with automotive surface preparation techniques including masking, sanding, and priming Experience operating spray guns for painting and coating applications; knowledge of airless paint spraying preferred Knowledge of auto glass replacement procedures and auto restoration techniques is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes Need someone permanent Most be able to paint prep sand and buff experience in body repairs no frame disassemble & reassemble if so contact me I need someone who fits this job.
