Madera, CA Job Details Full-time $17 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Quality control Industrial equipment Full Job Description Position Summary The Powder Coating Painter is responsible for applying powder coatings to metal parts moving through an automated conveyor line. This position ensures proper coating coverage, quality, and production efficiency while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate powder coating spray guns on a continuous conveyorized paint line. Apply powder coatings to metal parts according to specifications. Monitor line speed, powder flow, air pressure, and coating coverage. Inspect parts for color, thickness, adhesion, and finish quality. Hang and remove parts from conveyor hooks and racks. Change powder colors and clean equipment between runs. Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred. Ability to read work orders and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to powder coatings, curing ovens, noise, and moving conveyor systems.
Pay:
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
