Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Painter to join our dynamic auto body repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming vehicles through expert surface preparation, painting, and finishing techniques. Your craftsmanship will ensure each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and durability. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and specialty paints using conventional spray guns or paint sprayers with precision and consistency. Perform surface repairs including dent removal, welding, and auto body refinishing to restore vehicle integrity. Use buffing machines and polishing tools to achieve a flawless finish on painted surfaces. Operate power tools such as grinders and sanders safely while maintaining respiratory protection protocols. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including color matching, paint mixes, and surface treatments.

Experience Proven experience or extensive background in auto body repair and auto painting. Hands-on experience with automotive buffing, sanding, surface preparation, masking techniques, and coating application. Skilled in using hand tools, grinders, buffing machines, and spray guns for automotive refinishing projects. Knowledge of automotive surface preparation standards and auto restoration procedures. Familiarity with automotive mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Ability to operate paint spraying equipment safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and timelines. Mechanic experience or welding skills are a plus to support comprehensive vehicle repairs. Pay:
$25.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 80.0 per week
