Automotive Paint Technician Central Colorado Full-Time | $28-$30 Per Flag Hour Confidential Hiring Opportunity A busy, established collision repair facility in Central Colorado is seeking an experienced Automotive Paint Technician to join its team. We are looking for a skilled collision painter who can consistently produce high-quality finishes, match colors accurately, and work efficiently in a production environment. This is a full-time opportunity with steady repair volume, competitive flag-hour pay, and an experienced collision repair team. Pay $28-$30 per flag hour , based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Prepare repaired vehicles and panels for refinishing Mix and match automotive paint colors Apply primers, basecoats, and clearcoats Perform panel blending as needed Inspect finished work for color match, coverage, and overall quality Identify and correct paint imperfections Follow OEM repair and refinishing procedures Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and work area Work with body technicians and production staff to keep repairs moving efficiently Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals Qualifications Previous professional automotive collision painting experience required Strong color-matching and blending skills Experience with modern automotive paint systems Knowledge of proper surface preparation and refinishing techniques Ability to produce consistent, high-quality work Strong attention to detail Dependable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop Ability to work well as part of a team I-CAR or OEM certifications are a plus Benefits We offer an excellent employee benefits package .
