30-Hour Construction Cleaning (surface preparation method) SSPC Surface Preparation Specialist Abrasive blasting Industrial equipment Confined Space Certification Lead Certification Leadership Full Job Description Job Overview Paint Innovators of Colorado, LLC is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead field crews on abrasive blasting and industrial coatings projects across the Denver metro and Front Range. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for crew supervision, surface-prep and coating quality, jobsite safety compliance, and day-to-day execution across multiple concurrent projects — Residential, Commercial, and Industrial. Duties Supervise and direct blast crews and coatings application on active jobsites, including subcontractor personnel. Enforce AAMP surface preparation standards and verify profile, cleanliness, and coating mil-thickness at each stage. Oversee mixing, application, and cure of industrial coating systems (epoxies, urethanes, zinc-rich primers) per manufacturer spec.

Maintain jobsite safety compliance:

OSHA 1926.62

(lead in construction), confined space entry, respiratory protection program, fall protection, and containment/negative-air setups. Manage daily scheduling, manpower allocation, and material/equipment logistics across simultaneous project sites.

Complete daily field documentation:

production logs, QC/inspection reports, safety toolbox talks, and photos for client reporting. Support estimating and project management with field-verified quantities and constructability feedback. On prevailing-wage (Davis-Bacon) projects, understand certified payroll classification requirements and communicate them accurately to the office. Maintain and inspect blast pots, compressors, containment, and spray equipment; coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance. Uphold company quality and safety culture, and represent Paint Innovators professionally with GC and client site contacts.
