The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to metal, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This position will include sandblasting as well. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial painting processes and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment. Duties Operate powder coating equipment. Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or using precision measuring instruments. Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to achieve desired finishes. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques as needed during the coating process. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing principles. Interact with customers and provide quotes on demand. Experience Candidates should have experience or skills in the following areas: Forklift operation and materials handling. Powdercoating and sandblasting Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing and machining processes. Industrial painting techniques, including construction painting and auto body repair. Proficiency with welding and assembly tasks. Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and warehouse experience is preferred. Basic math skills for measuring materials accurately.
