Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Powder Coat Painter to join our production team and help our established leaders. This position is responsible for powder coating industrial parts, managing the paint and wash lines, and maintaining overall departmental efficiency using our state-of-the-art paint line equipment, including digital controls. Your precision and expertise will ensure that finished parts meet the highest quality standards before they leave our facility. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern paint line equipment in a fast-paced factory environment, contributing directly to the production of high-quality products. Role Responsibilities Powder coat industrial parts using our state-of-the-art paint line equipment, including digital controls. Manage the paint line and wash line to maintain consistent flow, quality, and departmental efficiency. Load and unload parts from the automated paint line safely and efficiently. Conduct quality control checks on finished parts, identifying and correcting defects as needed. Rework or repaint parts that do not meet quality standards. Maintain a safety-first mindset at all times, adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area. Assist other departments as needed, including welding, assembly, and shipping. Prior Experience Proven experience powder coating industrial parts in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong technical proficiency in grinding, metal clean-up, and prepping parts for paint. Previous experience managing or overseeing a paint or wash line preferred. Ability to communicate clearly, understand direction, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced production setting. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control. Required Minimum 2 years of hands-on powder coating experience. Strong technical proficiency in grinding, metal clean-up, and prepping parts for paint. Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and follow direction. Strong time-management skills. Preferred Supervisory experience. Product production experience. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands-on powder coating experience in a production manufacturing environment. Must be able to frequently lift items in excess of 25 lbs and regularly lift items in excess of 50 lbs. Must be able to hold or carry items exceeding 25 lbs overhead. Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Work in a shop environment while exposed to various weather conditions. Goldberg Brothers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
