Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a /sandblaster/painter and bring vibrant visions to life through expert craftsmanship! In this energetic role, Your skills in surface preparation, coating, and finishing will ensure every project exceeds client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering top-quality results. Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sandblasting and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute painting tasks using various techniques including brush, roller, spray (airless and conventional), and power tools to achieve smooth, even finishes. Interpret technical PDS, and schematics to accurately execute Sandblasting, Coating and painting projects aligned with design specifications. Apply coatings on steel surfaces; such as Separators, Tanks, Pipe, Structure Steel and steel equipment. Utilize safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all phases of construction painting and spray painting. Collaborate with welding, and remodeling teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution of construction or renovation projects. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with a variety of painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, industrial painting, and the use of paint sprayers (airless and conventional). Familiarity with surface preparation processes such as sanding, caulking, priming, and coating application on different materials like steel. Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting environments along with proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols. Skills in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding (ladder use), and fixture installation for comprehensive project completion. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations. Experience in specialized areas such industrial coating applications.
