Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform pre-painting activities on parts in preparation for painting Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products Utilize instrumentation to measure painting parameters to ensure compliance with OEM specifications Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to perform basic math calculations Demonstrated familiarity with various types of metal abrasive treatments Proven ability to mix and spray paint and coatings Knowledge of surface preparations Basic understanding of paint equipment and paint booth operations Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to bend, kneel, work on tight spaces or on a ladder Wear necessary PPE including face coverings Experience Minimum 3 years experience with industrial painting Work Hours Monday through Thursday 6:00 - 4:30pm; may be asked to work weekends as needed •Employer is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
