Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Prepare and apply finishes: Paint and polish surfaces in hotel rooms and public areas to meet required standards and timelines Install and repair wall and ceiling coverings: Work with materials like vinyl, fabric, and foil, and maintain caulked, grouted, wooden, and masonry surfaces with stain, varnish, and lacquer Maintain tools and equipment: Keep all painting tools, equipment, and work areas in excellent working condition Manage painting supplies: Oversee supply inventory and ensure all paints and solvents are stored safely and properly
