Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through cleaning, sanding, caulking, drywall repair, and surface priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray painting), and other hand or power tools Interpret technical drawings, color schemes based on color theory principles, and project specifications to achieve precise results Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Perform structural painting tasks on various surfaces such as stucco, drywall, metal fixtures, and industrial materials Conduct surface preparation for construction painting projects including sanding, scraping, masking, and applying primer coats Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly in compliance with safety standards Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines while ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded Skills Extensive experience in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial coating applications, and renovation projects Proficiency with hand tools (brushes, scrapers), power tools (drills, sanders), paint sprayers (airless and conventional), and surface preparation equipment Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting scope and material needs Deep understanding of color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately for precise application Familiarity with safety regulations including respiratory protection use and adherence to safety protocols on construction sites Experience with drywall installation/repair, caulking techniques, stucco finishing, fixture installation, remodeling tasks, maintenance work, and handyman skills is a plus Basic math skills for measurement calculations and material estimations Knowledge of construction site experience including working around existing structures during renovation or remodeling projects Join our team if you're eager to bring vibrant transformations to life through expert painting techniques!
