Overview This position is available for an experienced auto painter who can handle prep and paint doing touch ups / blends on brand new golf carts, LSVs, and UTVs. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply touch-up paint using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment, ensuring smooth, even coats Perform minor auto body repairs such as filling dents and scratches before painting Use automotive buffing and polishing tools to achieve high-gloss finishes and flawless surface appearance Operate grinders, power tools, and hand tools safely for surface preparation and repair tasks Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols including proper respiratory protection when handling paints and chemicals Conduct quality inspections of painted surfaces, ensuring color match and finish consistency meet company standards Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience in auto painting or touch-up work Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto body repair processes Skilled in surface preparation techniques including masking, sanding, and grinding Proficient with automotive buffing, detailing, and coating spray guns for finishing touches Experience with conventional spraying methods and airless paint spraying systems Knowledge of automotive surface preparation materials such as paints, primers, fillers, and coatings Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when moving vehicle parts or equipment Familiarity with welding is a plus for minor auto body repairs but not mandatory Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about work performed Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other workshop equipment Join us in delivering outstanding vehicle refinishing services that leave customers thrilled!
