Paint Prep Technician

Position Summary:

Masks, scuffs and cleans product in preparation for paint. Clean sprayers, maintain prep stations, and ensure paint areas and mixing rooms remain clean and organized. Inspect surfaces for defects and assist Painters/Assemblers Able to mix paint, perform maintenance and clean equipment. Essential Functions Ability to read and understand blueprints and work orders. Prepping, masking, and cleaning of product pre-paint. Able to wash prime, prime and paint product. Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management. Supporting production schedule by safely performing work efficiently.

Job Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience required. Automotive background or experience directly related to MIL-SPEC/Aerospace industry requirements a plus. Use of required safety equipment and understanding of exposure to solvents, paints, and related chemicals, etc

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour
