Diversified Sourcing are seeking an experienced Painter to perform industrial painting and surface preparation using a wheelabrator/blast-cleaning system. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing metal surfaces, operating painting equipment, and applying coatings according to production and quality specifications.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor wheelabrator/blast-cleaning equipment to prepare metal surfaces. Remove rust, scale, dirt, old coatings, and other contaminants from metal parts. Prepare surfaces for painting, coating, or finishing. Operate spray guns, paint equipment, and other painting tools. Mix and apply industrial paints, primers, and protective coatings. Follow specified paint thickness, coverage, and finish requirements. Inspect finished parts for proper coverage, defects, and overall quality. Perform touch-ups and rework as needed. Load, unload, and position parts and materials for blasting and painting. Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of painting and blasting equipment. Follow SDS requirements and proper procedures for handling paints, solvents, and other chemicals. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

Previous industrial or manufacturing painting experience preferred. Experience with wheelabrator, abrasive blasting, or surface preparation equipment preferred. Experience using spray guns and industrial painting equipment. Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Ability to safely lift and move materials as required. Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.
