We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Paint Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspecting painted vehicle parts and performing minor repairs to ensure all products meet strict quality standards before moving forward in the production process. The ideal candidate will be experienced in spot repairs, painting, sanding, and buffing to correct surface imperfections. Strong attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect painted automotive parts for defects such as runs, sags, orange peel, dust, scratches, and color mismatches Perform spot repairs , including painting, sanding, and buffing to correct minor surface imperfections Maintain a high level of paint finish quality across all inspected units Accurately document QA findings and repair activities Collaborate closely with paint line operators and supervisors to resolve quality issues Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and safe handling of chemicals Support process improvement initiatives to enhance overall paint quality Stand for long periods in a production environment and perform hands-on repairs Adhere strictly to the attendance policy - no grace period is provided
Requirements:
Experience in automotive paint QA, refinishing, or bodywork preferred Proficient in spot painting, sanding, and buffing techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Must be available for mandatory overtime , including three required Fridays per month Reliable with a strong attendance record - punctuality is a must Must wear steel-toe boots and appropriate PPE at all times
