This position is responsible for preparing, spraying, finishing, and inspecting custom cabinetry and millwork to ensure every piece meets our standards for quality and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with professional wood finishing, spray equipment, stains, paints, lacquers, sealers, and clear coats. We're looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of consistently producing clean, high-quality finishes. Responsibilities Prepare, sand, clean, and inspect wood surfaces prior to finishing Apply stains, paints, sealers, lacquers, and clear coats Operate spray guns and finishing equipment safely and efficiently Produce smooth, even, consistent finishes on cabinetry and millwork Perform touch-ups, repairs, and final quality inspections Assist with specialty finishes and color matching as needed Coordinate with the production team to keep projects on schedule Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing area Properly maintain finishing tools and equipment Qualifications 3+ years of cabinet finishing, woodworking, professional painting, or similar experience preferred Strong experience with spray equipment and finishing systems Knowledge of stains, paints, lacquers, clear coats, and wood preparation Ability to consistently produce high-quality finishes Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Reliable, organized, and self-motivated Able to work independently while also contributing to a team environment Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a clean workspace Why Join Us This is an opportunity to join a growing shop that values craftsmanship, precision, and quality .
