Job Description
All Safe Global is seeking an Industrial Painter for its Griffin, GA location. This role involves applying a wide range of colors and coating to steel and aluminum cylinders, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards. The hours for this position are 7am-3:30pm M-F. and may include some overtime and Saturday hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Apply various coatings of water base and enamel base to steel and aluminum cylinders using conventional and HVLP siphon and Gravity feed spray equipment.
- Ability to paint and stencil cylindrical products using spray paint in rattle can form from various manufacturers.
- Ability to make adjustments to spray equipment.
- Ability to maintain and clean spray equipment daily using solvents and other cleaning techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents such as SOP and customer paint charts.
- Ability to keep area clean, maintained and organized.
- Ability to maintain paint spray booth.
- Able to move/roll cylinders up to 130 pounds to and from area in a timely manner.
- Ability to mask products as per drawings, apply stencils and paint.
- Perform other duties within facility when instructed by supervision.
- Ability to stand, stoop and reach with hands and arms below the waistline.
- Ability to ensure paint is applied even, without runs, drips or streaks.
- Ability to meet deadlines while achieving high quality finishes.
- Ability to use power tools.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of water base and enamel base spray applications.
- Previous experience in Industrial painting on steel/aluminum.
- Willingness to work first shift, possible Saturdays in a heavy industrial environment.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Physically able to perform essential job functions.
- Able to pass background check and drug screen.
- Candidates will be tested for paint proficiency prior to job offer.
