6:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Industrial Painter position available at a company in Allison, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Industrial Painter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Measure and mix paints using measurement equipment such as viscosity cups, thickness gauges, and gloss gauges.
• Use knowledge of paint chemistry to ensure correct formulation and consistency for each job.
• Apply paint using appropriate tools and techniques, including spray equipment, rollers, and brushes.
• Work with primers, pre-finishes, and finishing coats to achieve the desired surface quality.
• Use specialized protective equipment, such as self-contained suits, as required for hazardous materials.
• Safely clean and maintain work areas after painting operations.
• Follow all guidelines for handling and disposing of hazardous chemicals and waste.
• Maintain compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.

Industrial Painter Requirements:

• Knowledge of paint chemistry and industrial coatings.
• Experience using spray equipment, rollers, and brushes.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail and quality-conscious approach.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Use hands and arms to handle paint equipment and tools frequently.
• Perform repetitive motions such as spraying, rolling, or brushing.
• Lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Work in various positions including stooping, bending, and reaching.
• Must be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
