Typical hours:
2nd shift, weekends requires; overtime and hours may vary based on customer demand as work schedule will be coordinated with non-production times. This position provides specialized industrial line‑painting and floor‑marking services that support safe, efficient, and well‑organized manufacturing operations. The position is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying indoor and outdoor traffic markings, installing printed floor labels. This position requires coordinating with internal teams, accurately following layout specifications, maintaining equipment, completing work orders, and delivering professional‑grade finishes that uphold facility workflow, compliance, and visual management expectations.Responsibilities:
Perform all painting and marking work Install printed floor labels accurately and securely Conduct surface preparation and grinding Maintain tools, equipment, and paint application devices Manage/Close work orders Communicate with Safety and ME teams regarding progress, hazards, delays, or layout concerns Produce all required floor labels and stencils Provide digital design files as needed Stage materials for technician pickup Follow all PPE requirements, paint handling rules, and safe‑work practices Barricade and control work zones to protect employees and equipment Manage, store, and dispose of paint waste per environmental guidelines Allow required curing time before walk‑on or drive‑on access Communication to proper parties in areas that require extended curing time Communicate hazards and near misses promptly Ensure all work areas meet 5S standards throughout preparation, painting, and cleanup Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent. 3 years of maintenance experience or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated experience in industrial painting and striping Proficiency with grinding and surface preparation equipment Ability to interpret floor layout maps, drawings, and visual work instructions Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a manufacturing environmentAdditional Information:
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position may require a valid Driver's License. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location. This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.Physical Requirements:
Requires the ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher. Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift. Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift. Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift. Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift. Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift. Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift. Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife. Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding. Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access data bases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents. Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.Special Requirements:
Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.Compensation Details:
