We are seeking self-motivated and self-managed experienced commercial painters in the Boise area! Here at BMM we value commitment, eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity. The position is Monday-Friday with the potential opportunity to work weekends. Seeking individuals with at least 1 year of experience. Must be willing to travel. We strive to accommodate our workers' schedules and contribute to their quality of life. Positive work culture is of utmost importance to us. This position requires you to have and maintain your own vehicle for transportation. All tools and equipment are provided. Work is located throughout Idaho and Utah. For jobs requiring travel, meals and room & board are included.

Expectations:

Ability to exert physical effort in transporting 20lbs to 50 lbs Ability to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas. Good communication with other trades on the site and BMM Team Willingness to undergo drug testing if requested Willingness to undergo safety training Maintaining a clean & risk-free environment Timely arrivals to work

Special Skills Required:

Skim coating (smooth coat) Using a Paint Sprayer (including how to clean) Paint matching and knowledge of which type of paints to use on different surfaces. Preparation of various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, sandblasting or other means as necessary. Proper use of equipment Knowledge in mixing, matching, and blending various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains and special protective coatings to achieve desired color, consistency, and drying properties. Ability to cleanly apply caulking, putties, cement or plaster holes and cracks. Properly putting away equipment Knowledge of the use and application of wall coverings (wall paper, vinyl coverings, etc.) Knowledge of stains and finishes. Knowledge of all tools and equipment respective to job functions. Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers in processing charges). Ability to be well organized and follow instructions. Focus attention on details. Think proactively Maintain time lines and work schedule Operate high reach lifts. Prioritize tasks and comply with deadlines for work assignments. Be a clear thinker and perform well under pressure work assignments Work and perform job functions with minimal supervision. Work as part of a team
