About the Role As a Surface Finishing Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing the durability and aesthetic quality of our manufactured components. You will utilize your expertise in industrial coating and powder application to ensure every product meets our rigorous finish standards, directly impacting the final quality delivered to our customers. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces through cleaning and sanding to guarantee optimal coating adhesion and long-term finish integrity. Execute precise masking and taping procedures to protect sensitive areas during the application process. Manage the loading and unloading of components on conveyor systems to maintain consistent production flow. Formulate and mix primers and industrial coatings to exact specifications, ensuring color accuracy and material performance. Operate spray equipment to apply high-quality paint and powder coat finishes across a variety of parts. Conduct thorough in-process inspections to identify and rectify surface imperfections before final curing. Maintain detailed logs of material consumption and workflow progress to support inventory accuracy. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in industrial painting or coating. Proficiency with spray guns, brushes, and various application tools. Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and environmental standards. Preferred Skills Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high production output. Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly environment. Proven track record of attention to detail and quality control.
