Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, plastering, drywall repair, caulking, and surface priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and power tools with precision and consistency Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and color schemes to execute projects accurately according to specifications Use ladders safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas while adhering to all safety regulations and respiratory protection protocols Perform structural painting tasks such as stucco, masonry, fixtures installation, and renovation work to enhance building durability and appearance Conduct surface preparation for construction painting including sanding, scraping, masking, and surface repairs for both interior and exterior projects Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials in accordance with safety standards Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects involving remodeling or maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion Requirements Proven experience in residential painting as well as commercial or industrial painting environments with a strong understanding of construction site practices Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, plastering tools, masonry equipment, and power tools safely and effectively Knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning and resource management Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and color theory principles for precise application Familiarity with surface preparation techniques including drywall installation/repair, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation Understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection measures and safe ladder use Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating coverage and surface area estimations Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for visual color comparison ensuring consistent quality across projects Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project specifications Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
