In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality powder coatings to various metal components, ensuring a durable, consistent and visually appealing finish. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to excellence, safety, and efficiency in production. Duties Operate powder coating equipment including spray guns, airless paint sprayers, and conventional spray systems to apply coatings uniformly. Interpret production documents such as work orders and process instructions to ensure accurate application of coatings. Handle materials safely using forklifts and hand tools, adhering strictly to safety protocols and PPE requirements like respirators and protective gloves. Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, calibration, and mechanical adjustments using power tools and machining tools. Assist in assembly or finishing tasks as needed within the manufacturing process to meet production deadlines efficiently. Skills Proficiency in powder coating techniques including conventional spraying, airless paint spraying, and auto body repair finishing methods. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively. Ability to interpret manufacturing instructions and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction painting surface preparation and industrial painting procedures. Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Familiarity with safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and adherence to OSHA standards.
