Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Auto Detailer to oversee and execute premium vehicle detailing services. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various detailing techniques, including ceramic coating installation, PPF application, marine detailing, oxidation removal, and metal polishing. As a Lead Auto Detailer, you will lead a team to deliver exceptional quality work while ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and leadership abilities to maintain the highest standards of vehicle care. Duties Perform advanced auto detailing services such as ceramic coating installation, PPF (Paint Protection Film) application, and marine detailing to enhance vehicle appearance and protection. Conduct oxidation removal processes to restore vehicle paintwork to optimal condition. Safely operate dry-steam cleaners for interior and exterior cleaning tasks, ensuring no damage to vehicle surfaces. Utilize rotary polishers and dual-action (DA) polishers for cutting, polishing, and paint correction to achieve a flawless finish. Execute metal polishing using rotary polishers to restore shine and remove surface imperfections. Lead and supervise a team of detailers, providing training and guidance on proper techniques and safety procedures. Maintain quality control standards by inspecting work for consistency, thoroughness, and customer satisfaction. Manage workflow efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in all services performed. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and operated safely at all times. Experience Proven experience in auto detailing with specialized skills in ceramic coating installation, PPF application, marine detailing, oxidation removal, and metal polishing. Hands-on proficiency with dry-steam cleaning equipment, rotary polishers, DA polishers, and other detailing tools. Demonstrated leadership experience or ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of vehicle surfaces, paint correction techniques, and safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to train others on advanced detailing procedures and ensure adherence to safety standards.
