V2X is hiring! We are looking for a Paint Prep Technician (2nd shift) to support the Modernization and Sustainment site in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities:
Applies coating materials to various surfaces using brushing, rolling, and spraying methods. Prepares surfaces for coating application, including cleaning, masking, and other necessary steps. Takes measures to ensure proper coating application and adherence to surface protection requirements. Pays close attention to detail to ensure precise coating application and avoid defects. Performs masking in appropriate locations to protect areas not intended for coating. Follows instructions provided through routings, blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of proper surface preparation methods and coating techniques. Ability to follow verbal and written specifications, routings, and other instructions. Attention to detail and precision in coating application. Skill in masking and protecting areas not intended for coating. Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
