Industrial Painter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in spray gun painting and welding, specifically Stick and Mig welding techniques. Responsibilities Perform spray gun painting on various industrial surfaces. Conduct welding tasks using Mig and Stick methods. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of painting and welding projects. Assist in connecting and erecting structures as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in spray gun painting. Experience in Mig and Stick welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in industrial painting is required. Familiarity with custom fabrication and welding. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our shop specializes in custom fabrication and welding tailored to clients' needs. The environment is not climate-controlled and can be dusty and loud at times. It's a small setting where safety is prioritized; welding hood, gloves, steel-toed boots are required, while safety glasses and ear plugs will be provided. The first shift operates from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
