Reports To:
Operations Manager We are looking for an experienced industrial painter that takes pride in their work, has the end user in mind when painting a project, and has the desire to grow personally and professionally with NIX! Our ideal candidate will: Prepare items to be painted including all sanding, masking, and repair work Perform a variety of routine and preventative maintenance painting such as structural steel painting, in preparation for zinc, enamel, epoxy, bitumastic, and urethane painting on a variety of surfaces Maintain safety and quality standards in the performance of duties Clean up facilities on a daily basis Ensures manager is aware of any issues which can impact customer satisfaction or billing Maintains good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles, tools, and equipment, including the return of tools to storage areas Ensures all company values are adhered to and promoted through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork Participates in all requested job-related training and development, as well as taking an active interest in improving skills with other training programs Follows all company and common sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipment Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with operating airless and conventional spray equipment Auto body skills preferred but not required Ability to operate vehicles and equipment (forklifts, hydraulic lifts, etc) Ability to lift 50 - 55 pounds as required without assistance Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace Strong organizational skills Health Plans | Paid Holidays | Paid Time Off | 401K | Life Insurance | Structured Bonus Plans ​
