Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality coatings and finishes to a variety of industrial products, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and safety protocols. Your expertise in surface preparation and painting techniques will contribute directly to the production of durable, visually appealing finished goods. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision and safety are paramount. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by performing painting surface preparation, including sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal coating adherence. Operate various spray guns such as conventional spray guns, airless paint sprayers, and powder coating equipment to apply coatings efficiently and evenly. Maintain a clean work environment by properly managing waste materials, cleaning tools and equipment, and following lean manufacturing principles. Experience Proven experience in industrial painting or manufacturing environments with a focus on coating application and surface preparation. Familiarity with powder coating processes, repair techniques, and painting surface preparation. Mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and spray guns for coating application. Knowledge of safety protocols including respirator use, respiratory protection measures, PPE adherence (personal protective equipment), and safety protocol compliance. Experience working with quality standards in production environments to ensure consistent finishing results. Pay:
$18.50 - $21.00 per hour
