Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Automotive Refinish Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality, factory-like finishes and wants to build a career with a dependable, team-focused company. Key Responsibilities Prepare all parts and panels for refinishing, including adjacent blend panels. Sand surfaces for primer and paint application. Properly mask and protect vehicles and surrounding panels. Apply primer and block panels to achieve a smooth, level finish. Mix and apply primers, sealers, basecoats, and clear coats according to manufacturer procedures. Blend panels as needed to ensure an accurate color match. Inspect completed work for color, texture, coverage, and overall quality. Use finishing abrasives, sanding products, buffers, and compounds to refine painted surfaces. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards. Work collaboratively with technicians and production team members to keep repairs moving efficiently. Qualifications At least two years of automotive refinishing experience or relevant vocational training. Knowledge of automotive paint preparation, application, blending, and polishing techniques. Ability to consistently produce high-quality work with close attention to detail. Ability to lift and manage parts weighing more than 50 pounds and regularly stand, squat, kneel, and bend. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a drug screening and background check. Dependable, organized, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining a positive attitude.
