Job Description
This position sprays surfaces of machines, manufactured parts or working area with protective or decorative material such as paint or enamel. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support the organization. Essential Functions Cleans grease and dirt from equipment. Removes rust from metal with acid, wire brush or steel wool. Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated. Pours coating liquid in to spray container and connects gun to air hose. Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray. Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat. Coast areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush. Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent. Operate lift truck with certification. Communicate regularly with other individuals/departments within the organization. Other duties assigned due to the need of the business.
