The Powder Coater will be responsible for applying durable, high-quality finishes to various metal components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate spray guns and other coating equipment to apply powder coatings accurately and efficiently. Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as needed. Apply powder coatings with precision, focusing on one color coating per job. Ensure consistent application of powder coating to meet quality standards. Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and make necessary adjustments. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of all coating tools and equipment. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear during all stages of the coating process. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations. Qualifications Proven experience in powder coating, specifically with knowledge of spray guns and coating techniques. Familiarity with powder coating equipment and application methods. Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision; knowledge in powder coating is essential, not interested in training. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes. Good understanding of safety protocols related to powder coating operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
