This role involves prepping, painting, and finishing equipment and components used in crane and rigging operations. The ideal candidate is skilled in surface preparation and coating application, adheres to safety standards, and can work as part of a team. Our corporate office is in Baton Rouge, LA with other offices located in Lake Charles, LA, Luling, LA, DeQuincy, LA, Beaumont, TX, Houston, TX, and Ashland, KY. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and clean surfaces for painting using tools such as sanders, grinders, and sandblasters Apply paints, coatings, and finishes to surfaces of equipment, machinery, or structures Ensure high-quality finishes in accordance with company standards Maintain painting tools and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as an industrial or commercial painter Proficient in using spray guns, brushes, rollers, and prep tools Ability to pass pre-employment urine and hair drug testing Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork Experience in heavy equipment, construction, or manufacturing setting preferred Deep South is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
