Non-Union Deep South Crane & Rigging, LLC has been a leader in the heavy-lift and heavy-haul businesses since the 1980's. Family owned and operated, we specialize in planning and executing rigging and lifting projects that other companies would call infeasible or impossible. This is made possible in part by the in-house design and manufacturing of our own specialty crane line, VersaCrane, with models ranging from 750 to 2500 tons in capacity. Deep South Crane & Rigging LLC is accepting applications for a full-time Painter at the Dequincy, LA location. This role involves prepping, painting, and finishing equipment and components used in crane and rigging operations. The ideal candidate is skilled in surface preparation and coating application, adheres to safety standards, and can work as part of a team. Our corporate office is in Baton Rouge, LA with other offices located in Lake Charles, LA, Luling, LA, DeQuincy, LA, Beaumont, TX, Houston, TX, and Ashland, KY. This position will be located in Dequincy, LA. Interested?

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and clean surfaces for painting using tools such as sanders, grinders, and sandblasters Apply paints, coatings, and finishes to surfaces of equipment, machinery, or structures Ensure high-quality finishes in accordance with company standards Maintain painting tools and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as an industrial or commercial painter Proficient in using spray guns, brushes, rollers, and prep tools Ability to pass pre-employment urine and hair drug testing Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork Experience in heavy equipment, construction, or manufacturing setting preferred Deep South is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
