EMAIL resume ONLY Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Blaster/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of industrial painting processes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a range of products. The Industrial Painter will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary. Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers to achieve desired finishes. Mix paints and coatings according to specifications and ensure proper application techniques are used. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing basic maintenance as required. Collaborate with team members to assemble components and fabricate parts when necessary. Utilize hand tools and forklifts safely for materials handling throughout the painting process. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste. Requirements Proven experience in industrial painting is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and basic math skills for mixing paints and measuring surfaces. Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Understanding of safety protocols in an industrial setting is essential.
