Responsibilities Prepare interior and exterior surfaces through cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stains, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and other hand or power tools Use ladders safely to reach high or difficult areas while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols Interpret technical drawings, color schemes, and visual color comparisons to achieve precise color matching and aesthetic outcomes Conduct surface repairs such as drywall patching, plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and concrete finishing as needed during renovation projects Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling disposal of materials and cleaning tools after each job Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection, using proper safety gear, and adhering to site-specific safety protocols Requirements Proven experience in residential painting or related construction painting fields with knowledge of surface preparation and coating techniques Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including industrial spray equipment), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding safely Familiarity with construction estimating principles is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs Strong understanding of color theory for accurate color matching and visual consistency across projects Experience with structural painting surfaces such as drywall, stucco, plastering, masonry, or concrete finishing is preferred Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction site work including respiratory protection standards Ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications for remodeling or renovation projects Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to surface area or material quantities Valid experience in construction site environments with a focus on maintenance or restoration work is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a visible difference!
