Join us at Chesapeake Classic Restorations Chesapeake Classic Restorations is seeking an experienced Paint & Body Technician to join our growing restoration team. We specialize in classic vehicle restorations, restomods, custom builds, and high-end automotive craftsmanship. This is not a production collision shop. Our work is built on patience, precision, attention to detail, and doing the job right the first time. Responsibilities Perform body repairs on classic vehicles, custom builds, and restoration projects Repair, straighten, fit, and align body panels Sand, block, prime, and prepare surfaces for high-quality paint finishes Assist with paint application, refinishing, color sanding, buffing, and final finish work Inspect completed work for imperfections and correct issues before final delivery Work closely with the paint, fabrication, mechanical, upholstery, and assembly departments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate project progress and collaborate effectively with the restoration team Consistently produce workmanship that meets Chesapeake Classic Restorations' quality standards Qualifications Previous automotive paint and body experience required Experience with classic vehicles, restorations, hot rods, or custom builds preferred Strong knowledge of body repair, panel alignment, blocking, sanding, priming, and refinishing techniques Ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable Positive attitude with pride in producing high-quality work Preferred Experience Classic vehicle restoration Custom paint work Paint correction and finishing Metal fabrication or panel repair Fiberglass and composite body repair Experience in a restoration or custom automotive shop What We're Looking For At Chesapeake Classic Restorations, every vehicle has a story.
