Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Industrial Painter, where your expertise will bring precision and quality to our production processes. In this role, you will be responsible for applying coatings, paints, and finishes to a variety of industrial components and structures, ensuring they meet strict quality standards. Your attention to detail and mechanical knowledge will help us deliver durable, visually appealing products that adhere to safety protocols and industry specifications. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by performing surface cleaning, sanding, and surface preparation in compliance with construction painting standards. Operate spray guns, including airless paint sprayers and conventional spray equipment, to apply coatings evenly on various materials. Use hand tools and power tools for surface finishing, assembly, and minor auto body repairs as needed. Interpret production documents such as work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate application of coatings. Handle materials safely using forklifts and proper materials handling techniques while adhering to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements. Conduct visual color comparisons and quality inspections to ensure coatings meet color consistency and finish standards. Maintain a clean work environment by following safety protocols, including respirator use and respiratory protection measures during spray operations. Perform routine maintenance on coating equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist in construction painting surface preparation tasks, including masking, sanding, and surface repairs prior to coating application. Document work progress accurately in production logs and reports, ensuring traceability and adherence to quality standards. Experience Proven experience in industrial painting or manufacturing environments with a focus on coating application using spray guns or powder coating techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to machining, auto body repair, or assembly processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with safety protocols involving PPE use, respirators, and respiratory protection is essential for maintaining a safe workspace. Ability to interpret technical drawings, production documents, and blueprints accurately. Basic math skills for measurements, mixing paints or coatings, and calculating coverage areas. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and coating materials handling. Knowledge of quality standards in production environments ensures consistent application of finishes according to specifications.
