Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coat Paint Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying durable powder coating finishes to a variety of metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Your expertise will help us deliver top-tier products that meet both safety and aesthetic requirements. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying surface treatments to ensure optimal coating adhesion. Operate powder coating equipment, including spray booths, coating guns, and airless paint sprayers, following established procedures. Mix and interpret production documents to determine appropriate coating specifications and color matching requirements. Apply powder coatings using conventional spray guns or electrostatic spray systems with precision and consistency. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators and respiratory protection gear. Handle materials safely using forklifts and hand tools, ensuring proper materials handling and storage practices. Conduct quality inspections through visual color comparison and surface finish checks to meet stringent quality standards in production finishing. $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
