Job Description

We're looking for powder coat painters to join our team. This position will primarily service the conveyor line powder coat booth. Experience with a powder coat system preferred. Automated line, or batch style. General understanding of the painting process and mechanics, whether wet or dry paint
  • we can train! We run FOUR 10 hour days Monday
  • Thursday, 6:30am
  • 4/4:30pm.
Occasionally we have a small crew in Friday to clean, rack/pack, and do maintenance. The line booth operates with a 3-4 person team. The rotation in the booth lasts 1-2 hours. While outside the booth personnel are primarily tasked with supporting the painters in the booth and keeping the booth room clean.
Daily responsibilities include:
Understanding the daily schedule, workflow Preparing the hoppers and booth for the days schedule Maintaining the equipment
  • start of shift, and end of shift Keeping the booth room clean & organized Manage and maintain the inventory of powders in the provided system Managing rotation in and our of the booth between painting and support duties for the painters in the booth.
Keeping an eye on the quality of the end product, and adjusting equipment & technique to ensure good outcomes Other duties as assigned.. may include racking, hanging parts, packaging, etc. This position involves bending, lifting, and being on your feet. Must be able to regularly lift/move 25 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 100 with assistance. Starting pay ranges from $18
  • $25/hour depending on qualifications, & experience.
