In this role, you will be responsible for spraying, dipping, and applying high-quality coatings to metal components to ensure they meet quality standards. Duties Prepare metal surfaces through sanding, grinding, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality. Operate spray guns, including airless paint sprayers and conventional spray equipment, to apply primer, paint, or powder coatings accurately. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), respirators, and respiratory protection at all times during painting processes. Conduct quality inspections to verify coating consistency and finish standards before installation. Qualifications Experience in industrial painting, powder coating, or construction painting surface preparation Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly, and the use of hand tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks Strong adherence to safety protocols including PPE use, respirator fitting, and respiratory protection measures Attention to detail with excellent visual color comparison skills for consistent finishing standards
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
