$20.56 per hour

Hours:

6:45am-2:45pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Spray Booth Operator position available at a company in Wentzville, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Spray Booth Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepares, primes, sands, seals, patches, cleans, and paints truck beds, surfaces, utilizing all types of painting materials such as primers, polyurethanes, lacquer thinner finishes.
  • Tapes, sands, repairs, and apply texturing layers on a variety of surfaces.
  • Has clear understanding of how to operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment. Including brushes, sprayers, robotic spray guns, and pumps, etc.
  • Safely stores and labels all materials. Keep records and submit reports of work.
  • Erects scaffolding, rigging, and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes.
  • Can read, understand, and communicate clearly work instructions.
  • Ability to understand acceptable spray patters, clogged mix chambers and tips.
  • Understands tolerances of spray equipment and bed liner build tolerances.
  • Capable of spraying bed liner using manual application equipment in the event of robotic failures, or repairs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Spray Booth Operator Requirements:
  • Familiar with TS and ISO requirements.
  • Knowledge of Robots and Robot programming are a definite asset.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Blueprint reading knowledge. Demonstrate computer skills.
  • Must be meeting the standards of current position.
  • Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid Driver's License.
