Job Responsibilities:

Perform sanding, sandblasting, and surface refinishing to remove defects and prepare components for finishing.

Prepare, paint, and assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.

Apply primer and exterior coatings to various UAVs and related products with precision and consistency.

Mix and prepare adhesives, paints, resins, and other materials in accordance with technical guidelines.

Read and interpret blueprints, process standards, work instructions, and parts lists to ensure accurate execution.

Inspect and maintain paint equipment to ensure proper functionality and uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Education, Experience and Required Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Related technical training, community college coursework, or military experience preferred.

Ability to read, interpret, and accurately follow engineering drawings, technical instructions, and process documentation.

Proficient in the use of basic hand tools including screwdrivers, ratchets, torque wrenches, precision measuring instruments, and paint shop equipment.

Demonstrated experience in a similar manufacturing, finishing, or paint-related role strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Capable of bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing hands-on tasks as required to service equipment and components.

Must have sufficient visual acuity to inspect parts and finished products for quality standards.

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, respirators, and other safety gear.

Regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
