Responsibilities Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces, ensuring optimal adhesion for coatings while working outdoors Use conventional spray guns, airless paint sprayers, and powder coating equipment to apply finishes with precision Interpret production documents, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate application of coatings and surface treatments Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, gloves, goggles, and protective clothing Handle materials safely using forklifts and hand tools, and other warehouse equipment while following proper materials handling procedures Conduct visual color comparisons and surface inspections to ensure coating quality aligns with industry standards Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to support lean manufacturing principles and efficient workflow Experience Prior experience in industrial painting, powder coating, or construction painting surface preparation is highly desirable Familiarity with sandblasting techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing Knowledge of safety protocols related to respiratory protection, PPE use, welding, machining, auto body repair, and materials handling Ability to interpret technical drawings, production documents, and measurement data using precision measuring instruments Warehouse experience or background in manufacturing environments is a plus Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses and material quantities Mechanical knowledge relevant to fabrication processes such as welding or auto painting is advantageous Join us in delivering top-quality industrial finishes that stand the test of time!
