- What You'll Do
- Perform blasting and painting using marine coatings to meet specified contract requirements.
- Understand and follow blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles, millage requirements, and coating procedures.
- Prepare surfaces and apply coatings using spray equipment, rollers, or brushes as directed by supervision.
- Use blasting equipment, surface‑prep tools, and coating application tools safely and effectively.

- What You Bring
- The ability to perform blasting and painting with marine coatings to specification
- The skills to meet blast profiles, millage requirements, and coating standards
- Ability to work safely and effectively in complex shipyard environments
- Strong commitment to precision, protection, and teamwork
- Must Have
- Requires a minimum 3 or more years experience as a painter/blaster.
- Nice to Have
- + Must be able to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all applications. + Identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the contract specifications. Testing will consist of the ability to hook up airlines to the manifold and spray horizontal, vertical and side to side. + Able to sand blast and demonstrate how to utilize each part of the blast equipment.
