The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various production equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and adhering to safety protocols. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on high-quality production processes, including powder coating, industrial painting, and finishing operations. The Operator will play a vital role in maintaining efficient workflow and safety compliance across multiple manufacturing tasks. Duties Operate and monitor coating spray guns, airless paint sprayers, and power tools, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct quality inspections through visual color comparisons and adherence to quality standards in production. Handle materials safely using proper materials handling techniques and PPE, including respirators and respiratory protection gear. Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment, lubricating machinery, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Assist with machining, auto body repair, auto painting, and finishing processes as required. Ensure compliance with safety protocols by properly using PPE and following safety procedures during all operations. Support surface preparation activities for construction painting projects and apply coatings using conventional spraying or airless paint spraying methods. Maintain a clean work environment and document production activities accurately for quality control purposes. Requirements Proven experience with manufacturing processes such as powder coating, industrial painting, coating application, or construction painting surface preparation. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with production document interpretation and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respirator fitting, and respiratory protection adherence. Experience with visual color comparison techniques for quality inspection. Skilled in the use of power tools, spray guns (including auto painting equipment), and machining tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. Strong understanding of materials handling procedures within a manufacturing setting. This position requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations.
