Job Description

Painter:
Job Description Curbtender manufactures garbage collection trucks. Painters are responsible for preparing the collection bodies for paint, applying a wet base coat and topcoat, and repairing any imperfections as needed. Must maintain accurate records of all product sprayed and comply with chemical and waste storage and disposal regulations. Must be able to distinguish among colors. Performs other duties as required. Ideal candidates have experience with spraying PPG, Axalta, or Sherwin Williams using Graco spray equipment. The paint finish needs to have excellent adhesion and near automotive-quality finish. We are looking for team players with excellent work ethic, self-driven, and pay attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 40 pounds unassisted. Prolong periods of Standing, Walking, Balancing. Overhead work, and the ability to climb ladders and scaffolding. Ability to always wear a forced air suit while painting.
