Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Painting/Spackling Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Prepare residential surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Sheetrock installation, taping, joint compound application Execute precise painting using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and other hand tools to achieve smooth, even coats Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and color schemes to accurately match client specifications and design visions Perform surface repairs such as drywall patching, stucco application, masonry work, and concrete finishing to restore or enhance structural integrity Apply coatings for both interior and exterior surfaces, including structural painting, industrial painting, and specialized finishes like stucco or restoration coatings Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials, cleaning tools after use, and ensuring safety equipment like respiratory protection is worn at all times Assistance with demolition Scopes as required Experience Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of construction site procedures and safety regulations Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding equipment Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects is a plus Familiarity with color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching techniques Experience with surface preparation techniques such as sanding, plastering, caulking, and masonry work Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics for precise project execution Prior involvement in renovation or restoration projects demonstrating attention to detail and craftsmanship excellence Join us as a Residential Painting/Spackling Specialist where your skills will directly contribute to creating beautiful, durable living spaces.
