We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Marine Detail Specialist who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in transforming boats to look their absolute best. This position goes beyond basic washing and detailing. You'll help restore, protect, and maintain boats so they leave our dealership looking showroom ready. Whether you have professional marine detailing experience or a background in automotive detailing, paint correction, or restoration, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As a Marine Detail Specialist , you'll be responsible for preparing new and pre-owned boats for delivery, restoring customer boats, and maintaining the appearance of our inventory.

Responsibilities include:

Wash, dry, and detail new and pre-owned boats for customer delivery. Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning after service work. Clean carpets, upholstery, vinyl, compartments, and storage areas. Polish stainless steel, clean glass, and apply protectants to interior and exterior surfaces. Maintain a clean, organized detail area and care for detailing equipment. Inspect boats before delivery to ensure they meet Mark's Leisure Time Marine's quality standards. Assist with yard organization and other dealership responsibilities as needed. As our detailing department grows, you'll have the opportunity to learn advanced services including paint correction, oxidation removal, pontoon acid washing, wet sanding, and restoration work. Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: A strong work ethic and positive attitude. Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to work overtime during peak boating season. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in marine, automotive, RV, powersports, or aircraft detailing. Experience using rotary polishers, dual-action polishers, buffers, and detailing equipment. Experience with fiberglass restoration, oxidation removal, compounding, and polishing. Experience acid washing and restoring aluminum pontoon tubes. Experience applying ceramic coatings or paint protection products. Forklift or boat handling experience is a plus (training available). Why Join Marks Leisure Time Marine?
